This position works to capture new accounts by cold calling and prospecting in certain markets as well as works to strengthen existing accounts with the Sales Manager. The number one responsibility for this associate and the Sales department is to sell the hotel sleeping rooms to increase revenue and market share.
This position will also have some minimal time dedicated to meeting room inquiries/bookings along.
|Duties:||Conducts outside sales calls, follows up on all leads generated by front desk and other sources, prospecting for new sales, account management of current accounts, closes sales and drives revenue through aggressive, positive approaches. Meeting and banquet room management.|
|Qualifications:||Two years of successful Sales experience, computer skills, and multi-tasking capability is required. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to prospect for new business, close the sale, and build business relationships once an account is acquired. Hotel Sales experience is a plus.|
